McKenna Truck Center is proud to announce that Casey's General Stores has taken delivery of their first Volvo trucks in the company's history. We appreciate the trust they have put in not only the Volvo product but in McKenna Truck Center and our staff as well. These are 2010 VNL 300 Day Cabs, 425 HP, 3.25 Rears, 193" WB and are equipped with the Volvo exclusive I-Shift automated transmission.
Hy Vee Food Stores
We are excited that Hy Vee Food Stores just took delivery of 23 additional Volvos in their fleet in November. They purchased (20) Red and White Day Cabs with Volvo D13 engines, 405 HP, 178" WB, 2.64 Rears and the Volvo exclusive I shift transmission. In addition, they ordered (3) Gold Million Mile trucks to be awarded to three drivers that attained the lofty goal of million mile club. These are awesome looking trucks and each driver has their name on the door and receives a model replica of the truck. We are very proud to partner with such a fine company and are honored to have the HyVee name and logo on the side of Volvo trucks.
Perishable Distributors of Iowa
These are some beautiful trucks and we are proud that PDI chose Volvo for their latest update of equipment. These orders of Volvo VNL 300 Day Cabs were split between Volvo and Cummins power. The Volvo D13 engines have 405 HP and the I Shift Transmission. The Cummins have the ISX 15 Liter engine with 400 HP and 10 Speed Eaton Transmission. We are looking forward to see how the trucks perform and will be monitoring fuel mileage closely over the next year.
Niece Trucking
Kenny Niece has been a loyal customer and good friend to Volvo and McKenna Truck Center for several years. His latest delivery of trucks were for (1) VNL 730 and (2) VNL 630's all with Cummins ISX engines, 475 HP, 225 WB, 3.58 Rears, and 13 Speed Transmission.
Kenny will also be taking delivery of 3 more Volvo's after the first of the year. He has ordered (2) VNL 300 Day Cabs and (1) VNL 630 Sleeper to update his fleet. We appreciate Kenny's loyalty to the Volvo brand and are glad he has placed his confidence in McKenna Truck Center to provide him the service he deserves.
